Farmingville Farmer's Market TeamOur last Farmer’s Market is Saturday, Aug 13th from 8AM-11AM at the KK Athletics Parking lot!  Check it out and get your fresh veggies, delicious cupcakes, blueberries, blackberries, honey, beautiful flowers, Briermere pies & peaches!

Also on Saturday, August 13, visit the Historic Schoolhouse and experience school in the 1850′s – a great educational experience for the kids!  Also bring a blanket or chairs to Farmingville Hills County Park (across form the FV Post Office) and  listen to local music from Vincent Hoffer & The Scutches, Blind Robbery, and Jack’s Waterwall.

All events are FREE due to the generous contributions of our sponsors including JLC Landscaping & Design, Allstate, The Farmingville Residence Association, Inc, and The Farmingville Historical Society!

Join us at Farmingville Hills Park, today, July 19th at 6:30PM for Free Family Yoga with Mary Beth Dark from Yoga for Everyone in Farmingville!

Afterwards, kids can get stamped and enjoy a free ice at Ralph’s Ice in Farmingville!  Don’t miss this fun, relaxing, local, and free evening out with the kids!

Local Summer Events for Families, Farmer’s Market, & Community Art Mural

Our summer family fun events for kids is back at Farmingville Hills County Park on Tuesdays at 6:30PM.  Join us for Family Zumba with Bobbi Ann on July 12 & 26, Family Yoga with Mary Beth Dark on July 19th, and Karate & Drumming with Ryu Shu Kan Japanese Arts Center on August 2nd!  Afterwards, all kids who attend get a free italian ice at Ralph’s Ice in Farmingville!

Community Day is on Saturday, August 13th (raindate Aug 14th) from 4-8PM  and will be a bit different this year.  We have 3 bands that will be playing throughout the evening, local crafts, food, italian ices, and the 1850 Historic Schoolhouse will be opened for you to experience what it was like to go to school at that time.  Join us for a family evening at Farmingville Hills Park!

We are also introducing a NEW FARMER’S MARKET on Saturdays – July 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13 – from 8AM-11AM in the KK Athletics Parking lot!  Check it out!  Briermere Pies will be available and acoustic music!

And finally, the Anti-Graffiti Task Force is creating a community mural on the west wall of KK Athletics.  We are looking for artists and volunteers to help every Saturday morning beginning July 9th.  Click here for more details!

After many months of community discussion and collaboration and with the support and dedication of Councilwoman Connie Kepert and Sustainable Long Island, The Farmingville: Our Vision for Tomorrow, Community Redevelopment Plan FINAL REPORT was successfully accepted by the Brookhaven Town Board last night!

So what does this mean? The Visioning report serves as an advisory document for all future Farmingville development and redevelopment. Most importantly, the report serves as a first step in the future development of a walkable downtown community, igniting both community and business development for Farmingville.  There are exciting plans for enhancing community and commerce in Farmingville.
