First, check out some photos from our last Family Fun Day & Saturday’s Farmer’s Market. The last Family Fun day was karate & drumming and the kids & adults had a blast! The Farmer’s Market this Saturday was a great success and we also had our Songwriter’s Workshop team perform for us! There’s one more market this Saturday, August 13th from 8AM-11AM. Otherwise, you’ll need to wait til next year. We have very FRESH & LOCAL tomatoes, squash (spaghetti, yellow, pampan, etc..), basil, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers, and much more! All these veggies come from Hobbs Farm in Centereach – a local, all-volunteer farm that gives most of its produce to local food pantries! Also check out Patty’s Berries & Bunchies with delicious blueberries and blackberries, honey, & beautiful flowers. Cupcake Girlz has an assortment of fresh-baked, delicious cupcakes & Briermere Farms peaches and pies are irresistable!
August 13th is also COMMUNITY DAY from 4-8PM in the Farmingville Hills County Park!! Bring a blanket or chairs and join us to listen to 3 awesome bands, visit the 1850 Historic Schoolhouse and learn about what it was like to go to school at that time, and meet some local craft artisans! Come out this Saturday evening with the family and have some fun in Farmingville!
